FAQS
what’s the difference between the darker skin tones cleanser and the cleanser?
The DARKER SKIN TONES CLEANSER has been formulated to the specific needs of more melanin active skin. While it has the same base ingredients as the CLEANSER it contains lumicol, an advanced science ingredient drawn from microalgae that helps to even out the skin tone.
Should i apply the cleanser onto wet or dry skin?
The CLEANSER can be applied to dry or wet skin and then rinsed off with warm water.
Can anyone use the cleanser (dry skin, oily skin etc.)
The CLEANSER is gentle enough to use on all skin types. It contains soothing aloe vera and chamomile that nourish and hydrate the skin without stripping it of necessary oils.
What is the difference between the cleanser and enzyme cleanser?
The CLEANSER is a gentle foam that helps remove impurities, dirt and makeup while also hydrating the skin. The enzyme cleanser is a powder formula containing enzymes subtilisin and lipase that provide a gentle but deep exfoliation. The enzyme cleanser should only be used 2-3 times a week depending on skin type whereas the cleanser can be used daily.
How does the cleanser improve skin texture?
The function of a CLEANSER is to remove makeup, dead skin, oil, dirt, and other pollutants from the complexion and to unclog pores to prevent skin conditions such as acne and uneven texture. A cleanser also prepares the skin to better receive skincare ingredients.
Why use a foam cleanser?
The foam cleanser is gentle and will not disturb the skin's natural moisture barrier or ph. Foam cleansers have several advantages to oils or balms - if you are prone to breakouts, oil can clog pores and worsen this condition while foam does not present this problem. Foam is easy to handle and economical because the fluid is only turned into a foam right before use – you only need to use a very small amount of product.
Can i use it while pregnant? I see that it contains salicylic acid.
Yes. The formula contains salicylic acid at lower than 2% and is therefore safe for use while pregnant.
Is it efficient enough to use as a makeup remover?
The CLEANSER will remove light makeup and impurities. If you are using heavier makeup or water-resistant products a double cleanse may be necessary.
