The Media Editor at Dr. Barbara Sturm is responsible for helping to grow and run the brand’s media presence, supporting business growth and sales, ongoing brand positioning and reputation management.

The candidate will play a key role in bringing the brand and products to life through moving and still images and graphics, and social media campaigns, working closely with Brand, Design, Copywriting, and Marketing Team to take content to the absolute next level! Day to day Responsibilities

  • Concept with the creative and social media teams to develop engaging ideas for seasonal campaigns across paid and organic social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and Pinterest).
  • Develop end-to-end content creation, from concepting, storyboarding through to hands on editing and animation/motion design for social media.
  • Research and experiment with new approaches and techniques to stay ahead of trends in social media.
  • Source on-brand UGC and lifestyle content that reflects the ethos of the brand and the taste levels of founder.
  • Analyze content performance and learning.


  • Proven experience in creative design for social media- ideally in luxury beauty and skincare industries.
  • Expert level of After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Extensive knowledge of video/imagery formats across the key social media platforms.
  • Skills in illustration and design would be a huge bonus
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Culturally clued up and immersed in social media culture, understanding what audiences loves to watch and engage with on social platforms.

The Social Media Coordinator at Dr. Barbara Sturm is responsible for helping to grow and run the brand’s social media presence, supporting business growth and sales, ongoing brand positioning and reputation management.

This role will sits at the intersection of the marketing and brand teams to manage and deliver:

  • Global social media execution for the brand with additional support for our retail partners
  • Tightly managed day-to-day social publishing schedule
  • Community management

The candidate must be self-motivated and experienced in managing social platforms with real-time decision making in execution. A deep understanding of the global digital landscape is key, as well as an appetite for keeping abreast of changing trends, technologies and platform developments. In addition, the candidate will have good working relationships and connectivity with all key social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube.

Reporting to: Marketing Director with a dotted line into the Brand Director

Day to day Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the social media content calendar on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Strategic focus of reaching new audiences, increasing engagement and commercial success underpin thinking.
  • Execution of content marketing, influencer strategy and social storytelling tailored to each platform and reaching target audiences in a creative, relevant way.
  • Working in tandem with brand retail partners in innovative ways to grow business is a key measure of success.
  • Close partnership with the communications team to deliver uniform messaging/reputation management.
  • Monitor user generated content and trends in social media tools and applications.
  • Weekly reporting and statistics of social accounts, including social analytics overview and recommendations.
  • Keep up to date with growing trends and opportunities in the tech sector.


  • Digital, social media and online communications experience working in-house or agency side in the beauty and skincare industries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with platforms for scheduling, reporting, publishing and analyzing social media (Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, Tribe Dynamics, Google Analytics etc.)

DETAILS: 40 Hours/5 Days - full time, permanent, variable shifts



We are looking for a passionate Skin Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets within our rapidly evolving luxury skincare company. Candidates will demonstrate proven ability to professionally conduct all aspects of facial treatments as well as confidently offer recommendations and sales advice. As a Skin Specialist, you will provide a tailored, personalised service to our customers in order to achieve sales and customer service goals, whilst ensuring each customer has a unique and luxurious experience. You will also use your exceptional people skills to build collaborative working relationships with the rest of the Dr. Sturm team, as well as the retail teams when required. If you have a genuine love of luxury skin care, are treatment and sales focussed and are looking for a progressive career within the Beauty Industry, then this could be the perfect role for you!

• Provide weekly reports as required to the UK Area Manager.


• Proven retail experience preferably within beauty, ideally skincare.
• Minimum NVQ level 3 qualification.
• The ability to provide genuine and personalized customer service.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and customer service targets.
• Experience of creating and executing in-store events.
• Previous business planning experience including calendar and event anniversary planning.
• Previous retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation.
• Confidence and discretion a must.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early and late shifts (between the hours of 10am and 10pm), weekends & bank holidays.


• Focused on attention to detail, takes initiative and enjoys working in a positive environment.
• Ability to work well with others, as well as the ability to work independently to drive a successful business.
• Demonstrate professional treatment consultation and application.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.


• Facial therapist experience within the luxury skincare segment.
• Retail experience, preferably in a customer focused, cosmetics environment.
• Previously demonstrated successful sales experience, exceeding quota.
• Ability to learn and utilise online clientelling tools and software.
