SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

The Social Media Manager at Dr. Barbara Sturm is responsible for growing and running the digital and social platforms of a global brand to support business growth and sales, ongoing brand positioning and reputation management.

This role will support, manage and deliver:

  • Global social media strategy for the brand, the individual and retail partners
  • Tightly managed social publishing schedule
  • Drive digital relationships with brand’s retail partners
  • Identify and unlock innovative and strategic social and digital partnerships (platforms, digital companies) and wider digital marketing opportunities

The candidate must be self-motivated and experienced in being able to create and drive strategic thinking, whilst simultaneously managing social platforms and real time decision making/execution.

It is important that the candidate deeply understands the global digital landscape and is abreast of changing trends, technologies and platform developments.

In addition, the candidate will have good working relationships and connectivity with all key social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube. Experience of the key Chinese / Asian social media channels and cultural knowledge a benefit.

The candidate will have proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment and may have had a combination of both agency and in-house positions. The candidate must be able to rapidly identify and action any issues or reputational risks and able to prioritise and manage workload in a timely manner.

Day to day Responsibilities

  • Management and publishing of high-profile social media accounts and communities, social ad campaigns, cross brand partner promotion, and online communication strategy
  • Support the team to create and plan innovative digital marketing campaigns including premium video, photo content, mobile specific content, email/newsletters, new partnerships, mobile and social apps
  • Work closely with in house Digital, Commercial, PR and creative teams based in London, Germany, Los Angeles and New York to engage with consumers, enhancing brand loyalty to drive both engagement and revenue
  • Key Liaison between all departments for digital activity including Brand Director, CMO, Head of Ecommerce & Digital, PR, etc
  • Planning and buying of SEM/social/mobile advertising with ROI
  • Online Reputation management – identify threats and opportunities
  • Monitor user generated content and trends in social media tools and application
  • Weekly reporting and statistics of social accounts, including social analytics overview and recommendations

Requirements:

SALES OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (LEVEL SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator – North America, based in our New York office. This role reports to the Director Operations – North America. In this role, you’ll be supporting the Wholesale team with sales order processing, retailer e-mail correspondence, item set up forms and launch communication to deliver the regions fiscal targets.

  • Manage daily order processing of all manual and no charge orders via NuOrder system, ensuring that orders are processed and shipped within the agreed upon standard timelines
  • Serve as main contact for independent B2B accounts, supporting them in regards to all inquiries on order status, tracking, returns, etc
  • Manage and implement a system to facilitate new account inquiries
  • Responsible for maintaining Instagram Commerce Manager inventory levels, order processing and coordinating with Social team to ensure product is ready to go live on Instagram Shop
  • Communicate launch allocation via email to all B2B accounts, tracking all PO’s to ensure submission is made.
  • Manage item requirements by account, including sku information, product images and copy.
  • Assist Director of Operations in weekly and monthly sales reporting.

APAC Account Director

Barbara Sturm Molecular Cosmetics is seeking a strong, detail-oriented, process driven, hands-on APAC Account Director. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, international and fast-growing luxury skincare brand, playing a crucial role handling the APAC market. The APAC Account Director will be responsible for all aspects of sales, business development, strategy, and execution in the territory.

This position will report to the GM UK & Commercial Director EMEA & APAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market and business development strategies
  • Manage strong and durable key client relationships with all retail partners, inclusive of Top Management
  • Lead commercial negotiations with GM UK, including cost share, counter space, location and new door openings
  • Identify new business opportunities, follow up on all prospect enquiries for the region, and opening new accounts (Retail, Spa, Online)
  • Manage day to day operations within designated territory
  • Provide exceptional client service to existing partners
  • Lead sell-in NPD by season to APAC market
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing team to execute agreed joint business plans in region
  • Track spend and ROI within budget parameters as set on JBP/Trade Marketing Plan (approved by GM UK)
  • Lead bi-annual strategy/market meetings (and more regular monthly calls with key partners) in the region, in partnership with the GM UK
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual net sales, basic replenishment needs, new products placement in conjunction with the GM UK
  • Analyse retail reports for the region to optimize performance and identify key areas of opportunity, including stock holding analysis. Monitor performance versus budget targets and KPIs
  • P&L comprehension
  • Work very closely with DBS Operational teams to ensure timely process and shipment of any partner orders
  • Partner with DBS in house Registration team to provide necessary documentation to clients requiring registration information for new launches or new markets
  • Protect DBS brand equity by ensuring Global Visual Guidelines are adhered to all times
  • Organise events in partnership with key retailers and DBS Trade Marketing team
  • Partner with Rest of World Commercial team for all back-office functions
  • Maintaining awareness of industry activity
